- Gardener
Gardeners perform basic landscape duties as part of a three to five person crew. These duties would include; mowing, trimming, weed and trash control.
- Crew Leader
The Crew Leader is central to our success. Successful Crew Leaders typically have several years experience working in gardener-type positions, although this is not required. Crew Leaders must have a strong desire to lead a team, and possess a valid California driver's license.
- Irrigation Technician (Positions Currently Available)
Irrigation Technicians perform repairs and maintenance on irrigation systems which would include; controller programming, valve repairs and troubleshooting, lateral and mainline repairs, sprinkler head adjustment and replacement. Although experience is highly preferred, it is not required. A valid California driver's license is required.
- Field Manager
The Field Manager is the bridge between crew leaders in the field and the Account Manager. Field Managers are typically responsible for supervising three to five crews. Their primary focus is on job quality, site productivity and efficiency, crew safety, and onsite training. A strong knowledge of field operations is preferred but not
required.
- Regional Account Manager
The Account Manager is directly responsible for a portfolio of accounts. The protection and enhancement of each customer's landscape investment is their first priority. Success is achieved by having a clear understanding of individual customer expectiations and delivering on those expectations. Strong relationship building and customer service skills are necessary to this position.
- Branch Manager
The Branch Manager is responsible for the success of all branch operations. Their primary focus is on managing key accounts, development and support of account managers, vehicle and equipment management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are necessary to this position.
- Sales Associate (Positions Currently Available)
In order for Heaviland to provide new opportunities for our employees, we need to continue on a plan of growth. Sales associates are responsible for identifying those key targets which will continue to build a healthy contract base. Strong communication skills and relationship building are Heaviland hallmarks for a successful sales associate.
