Tom Heaviland Named To PLANET 2005 Board of Directors
Tom Heaviland has been elected to the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) Board of Directors. Tom, who has been active with ALCA for many years, is currently the chairman of the Business Development Committee for PLANET. He holds both Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) and Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) designations, having passed rigorous professional tests given by PLANET.
Tom's board responsibilities include Business Development; building relationships with supplier members through sponsorship & event participation. The Professional Landcare Network was formerly the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA), which have now merged. With over 4000 members, PLANET is considered “the” voice of the green industry.
