Why Work with Us

What We Do
Heaviland is a full-service commercial landscape management company based in San Diego. We provide landscape maintenance, landscape design and installation, and water resource management services to our clients. Heaviland is made up of talented account managers, field managers, crew leaders, irrigation technicians and gardeners. We are always looking for motivated people to join our team and offer a supportive culture with an emphasis on continuous education, safety and training.
At Heaviland Landscape Management, we believe that to satisfy our external customers, we first need to satisfy our internal ones: our team members. Our commitment to team member satisfaction and development stems from a firm belief that our people are our most valuable resource. We allow our Guiding Principles to shape our company culture and we refer to them throughout our daily operations.
We also embrace the idea of servant-leadership. This new hierarchy puts team members at the very top and the leader at the bottom, charged with serving those above him/her. Servant leaders serve their staff, which in turns serves and benefits the company.
Heaviland team members enjoy working together and celebrating our successes. If you visit our Facebook page, you’ll notice that we like to celebrate birthdays, work anniversaries, babies and more. We encourage a healthy work-life balance for our employees and believe in a positive work environment for all.
Who We’re Looking For
Heaviland Landscape Management believes that character is more important than talent; if you possess the qualities that we aim to foster within our company, we can train you for specific job skills that you may not yet have. We are looking for team players with ambition, a willingness to learn and those that take pride in their work.
